Commitment Ceremony Celebrant
Commitment Ceremony is for couples, who for legal or other personal reasons are unable to marry, but their love for each other is strong enough so they wish to make a public commitment to each other, in the presence of their family and friends.
We are available for ceremonies throughout the New England and Mid North Coast and can travel to Newcastle and Hunter regions. From Tamworth to Armidale to Coffs Harbour and all areas in between.
Couples who were married overseas often choose this type of ceremony, so they can re-celebrate their union in front of their family and friends who were unable to join them for their wedding.
Multicultural traditions, values and beliefs can also be incorporated into a Commitment Ceremony.
Certificate of Commitment
A beautiful inscribed Certificate of Commitment is given to the couple at the conclusion of the ceremony. It makes a lovely keepsake to mark this special occasion.
Same Gender Couples
I also offer Commitment Ceremonies to same gender couples providing you with an opportunity to have a meaningful and moving ceremony, which you can celebrate before your family and friends. Same sex marriages are NOT legal in Australia.
Although a Commitment Ceremony is not a wedding, it is a lovely way to express your devotion to one another.
Vow Renewal Ceremony
It is never too late, or too early, to share the love and commitment a couple feels for each other. Whether 5 years or 50, renewing ones vows is a celebration of the lasting bond that many couples share. There are a multitude of reasons why people renew their vows, to recapture a special day, to celebrate an anniversary or even to have that 'perfect wedding' they could not have the first time around.
Your vow renewal ceremony should be as special, if not more so, than the first time. To renew your vows is a declaration to the world that your original commitment has not only lasted but has only grown stronger over the years.
